COF Handle Motor Fuel (P-15) Gas Station and Fleet Service Station Practice Exam 2026 - Free Motor Fuel Practice Questions and Study Guide

The requirement to post dispenser operating instructions near each fuel dispenser is rooted in the need for safety and proper usage. By providing clear and accessible instructions, customers can confidently and correctly operate the fuel dispenser, reducing the risk of accidents or improper fueling practices. This transparency helps ensure that users understand how to select the correct fuel type, how to activate the dispenser, and any relevant safety precautions.

Having these instructions posted provides immediate guidance to customers, facilitates compliance with safety regulations, and promotes efficient service. It addresses potential questions or confusion during the fueling process, ultimately enhancing the customer experience and maintaining safety standards at the gas station.

While operating hours, fuel chemical composition, and staff training certifications are important aspects of a gas station, they do not directly assist customers during the operational process at the fuel dispensers in the way that the operating instructions do.
